Brad and I just celebrated our 6th month anniversary on 4/12. I can’t even believe it’s been 6 months. We’re expecting a baby in July so I’ve been just too busy (read: tired and lazy) to post any photos from the wedding but FINALLY here are some of my favorites.

All photos are by the absolutely fantastic, Caitlin Thomas Photography.

Here’s a slideshow of some of the DIY projects we did for the wedding. Special shout out to Joann Fabrics for having the inventory to meet my demands for at least 6 months before the wedding; we’re talking burlap, tulle, paint, wood and season items too. The staff at my local store was always helpful!

And of course, our wedding cake by Prantl’s Bakery in Shadyside. This is their famous Burnt Almond Torte. They provided the great cake, I provided all the bells and whistles to go along with it.

And some pictures of us, the happy couple who made it at least 6 months so far.

We had the absolute most perfect day imaginable and I can’t thank Caity (and her assistant Sam) for capturing it so vividly for us. If you’d like to see more or have questions about any of the projects I did, let me know! After planning a full DIY wedding, I feel like I can do ANYTHING!! I simply can’t wait to get my hands dirty for our veggie garden themed baby shower next.
